We are located just on the Island of Hispaniola which is between Cuba and Jamaica on the west and Puerto Rico to the east. Republica Dominicana shares the island with Haiti to the east. Santo Domingo was discovered and founded by Christopher Columbus. Among the sites is a small church which display what they claim is remains of Christopher Columbus.
